Challenging Limitations: Zovig Garboushian's Coaching Philosophy for Women Leaders

Zovig Garboushian is a remarkable woman who wears many hats. She's the Founder and CEO of Boldness Ablaze Coaching , an executive Coach, and an accomplished speaker. But her journey to this point wasn't always clear.

After spending 15 years working in marketing and advertising, Zovig made a dramatic career pivot towards learning and development. However, her interest in coaching wasn't a sudden epiphany; it was a gradual process that built up over time. Coaching became an integral part of her interactions with others, and she soon realized that she had a natural talent for it. As she progressed into organizational consulting, coaching remained an essential part of her work with clients, alongside change management, training, and development.

Interestingly, Zovig had never imagined herself as an entrepreneur. Despite growing up watching her parents build a successful business, she had never envisioned herself taking on the challenge. Witnessing the struggles that came with entrepreneurship, she had always been hesitant. Even during her corporate career, she had often been urged to start her own business, but her answer was always a firm "no."

But life has a way of surprising us, and Zovig's story is no exception. As she delved deeper into coaching and leadership development , she realized that entrepreneurship was the perfect path for her. The skills and talents she had cultivated over the years were precisely what she needed to create her own thriving consulting company.

At Boldness Ablaze Coaching , Zovig offers her expertise to a diverse range of clients, including both men and women. Although the company primarily markets its services towards women, Zovig is open to coaching anyone seeking her guidance. She helps individuals, whether they are running a small business or a large corporation, to identify their true desires and develop an actionable plan to make them a reality.

Her approach is all about empowering individuals to pursue their passions and dreams, and she takes pride in helping her clients achieve their goals. Her clientele includes business owners and women working in various types of companies, including major corporations such as Microsoft and Amazon.

Zovig's philosophy on leadership is rooted in the belief that true growth comes from within. For women, in particular, this means taking the time to connect with oneself and develop empathy and compassion.

She firmly believes that our attitudes toward ourselves and the world around us have a profound impact on our interactions and relationships with others. By cultivating self-awareness and making conscious choices, we can break free from the limitations imposed by fear and past experiences.

She points out that as a leader, you're constantly under the spotlight, whether you're a man or a woman. People are watching you, evaluating your choices, and forming opinions. But as a woman in a leadership role, the scrutiny is even more intense. The challenges they face are unique and often much more daunting. It's a different kind of circumstance altogether - one that requires them to fight different battles.

Every decision you make is subject to scrutiny - your wardrobe choices, your communication style, your tone of voice - everything is analyzed under a microscope, " why did she do that? Oh, why is she wearing that? Oh, you shouldn't! Let me explain this to you! Did you think about this ?"

Women leaders must navigate complex power dynamics, break down stereotypes, and challenge societal norms that have been ingrained for centuries. In order to create a world where women are empowered to pursue their dreams and reach their full potential, it is essential to challenge the negative stories and messages that women have internalized over time.

Zovig's powerful message to women centers around the importance of connecting with their inner truth, values, and essence. By tapping into their essence, which is who they naturally are in the world and the unique value they bring, women can cultivate self-trust and embrace their authentic selves without constantly striving to change.

This transformational journey leads to a grounded and strong sense of self, empowering women to confidently navigate difficult conversations and conflicts and lead teams. However, Zovig emphasizes that this is not an overnight process and requires consistent effort and dedication.
