Dr. Frances Ann Bailey Overcame Challenges, Now Helping Others to Fight Back

Dr. Frances Ann Bailey is a certified life coach. She offers Godly wisdom principles while coaching, in public speaking, services, and products to help women recover from the setbacks in their lives and learn strategies to overcome the obstacles and barriers in their lives and businesses with their purpose zeal. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Dr. Bailey was a victim of substance abuse and realized how difficult it is to overcome the problem and its stigma.

In addition, Dr. Bailey offers spiritual support and guidance based on a Christian perspective for others to reinforce their relationship with Christ and other personal relationships as a Christian counselor. Thus, it is not surprising that many people call her the Purpose Zeal Coach. She is the founder and CEO of Frances Bailey Enterprises, and the Founder and President of the nonprofit organization Red Door Empowerment.

Life & Jesus

Dr. Bailey was born and grew up on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Her early life was best with several problems, which she overcame. Subsequently,

Dr. Bailey earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a specialization in CJ management, a Master's in Public Administration, and her Doctorates in Leadership and Public Policy and Administration from Walden University.

Dr. Bailey earned her certifications in foundations of leadership, advanced leadership, and executive leadership to strengthen her leadership skills. “Getting to where I am today required me to submit my life to Christ and give up all excuses. I gained a personal relationship and walk with Christ,” she told WomELLE in an interview.

After overcoming abuse, self-medicating empty places, defeating depression, walking through a divorce, and many more life challenges, she is only living out the purpose God has called her to do. So, she must stay close with Him, Dr. Bailey says, adding that nobody but God delivered her from herself and the schemes of the enemy that tried to kill her.

"God continues to lead me and directs me. Now I help others not to fight alone. After God had delivered and began to transform me, I had my part to do and be obedient to then walk in my calling," she claims. The execution was a must, and she wouldn't be waiting on God anymore; God was waiting for her. Soon, she wrote her vision and began to collaborate with others, gain mentors, etc., to help push her into the plan God had for her.

Challenges & Obstacles

Talking about the challenges she had to overcome before establishing herself as a successful businesswoman, Dr. Bailey says that along the way, she battled with some health issues that limited the mobility of her arms and legs. However, God's strength made her perfect in her weakness, and she continued to push through.

According to Dr. Bailey, the fear of the unknown was another barrier she eventually had to let go of. “God would not be asking me to do something that he hadn’t equipped me to do. Also, letting go of things God told me to let go of was another challenge I had to overcome.” She says that the things that God tells us to let go of may not even be bad. Not all distractions are bad things; it's just that they are distracting us from God's will for our lives.

Becoming a Life Coach

After overcoming abuse, self-medicating, addiction, defeating depression, walking through a divorce, and many more life challenges, she decided to create value from her past challenges and experiences. Now, she helps people who are once like herself or individuals going through similar events to maintain their zeal for God’s purpose for their life. She knew how it felt to think that you were created for nothing because nothing was happening the way you expected it. She now shows others how to stand tall in power, take back everything that belongs to them and recover all.

Her Work

Dr. Bailey specializes in empowerment and life recovery and is a Christian counselor certified and servicing the areas of marriage, friendship, couples, blended families, and leadership counseling. “I coach, speak and lead from a place of transparency. Clients have and continue to gain a mindset transformation working with me," she says about her work.

She helps her clients to realize that they are their biggest enemy. Nothing or no one can stop them. Accountability isn't condemnation but an inspiration to understand what one could do differently to accomplish, heal, and overcome barriers. Dr. Bailey helps her clients lay out a strategic plan and steps to reach their next level of life and purpose. Incorporated in the blueprint are new skills, resources, and referrals. Her businesses have been listed globally with Brainz 500 global award in Stockholm.

Meaning of Success

For Dr. Bailey, success means starting until Christ creates enormous steady significance. She says she chooses those words to represent success because we often start in a business or ministry, and it’s not what we expect. It may not be going at the speed we want it to go. Still, God wants us to trust Him enough to start it and wait for Him to go beyond what we ask or imagine producing an excellent quality of being worthy of attention and importance.

Her Advice

Dr. Bailey says that to gain true success first, one needs to give his/her life to Christ. Submit your goals, plans, and visions to Him first. Acknowledge Him in all that you do, then execute the plan. Don't worry about failing. She elaborates that when you fail, you learn, so you still win in being successful.

What Next

Dr. Bailey says that she would continue to reach the masses for the God Kingdom and continue to empower and help the next woman or man. Currently, she is launching a podcast called “Purpose is Greater" on apple podcast, Spotify, and four more platforms. Purpose Zeal Pusher Wednesdays is underway as well as her private Facebook group called "Purpose Zeal Encouragement."

"Furthermore, I am working on two upcoming book collaborations and my solo three-volume book projects. The three-volume book project will help others walk in the same steps I used to break free from the chains of addiction, depression, and toxic relationships,” she says optimistically.
