Jacqueline first developed a fascination with understanding consumer motivations and behaviors from a college professor who introduced her to market research through a printed magazine survey. Captivated by learning why people make certain choices, she was instantly drawn to build a career uncovering those insights.  

Over the decades, Jacqueline progressed into leadership roles running market research divisions and firms, becoming a standout in an industry known for being risk-averse. Bucking tradition with her vibrant, witty and straight-shooting personal brand, she fostered company cultures centered on authenticity, transparency and having fun along the way.  

In her stint as President of 30-year market research leader ISA, Jacqueline employed an innovative approach to propel record-breaking financial success. By unbundling the company’s offerings into individual components, she established a comprehensive perspective to better market their capabilities. This understanding led her to quickly develop and release new repackaged products that exceeded revenue goals to the tune of $25 million.  

Jacqueline’s strategy focused on growing ISA’s senior talent in a deeply personalized fashion, which involved making significant investments to nurture leaders and create advocates. This approach produced a positive ripple effect of trust and empowerment across the entire organization. Her willingness to remove obstacles and get out of employees’ way so they could perform drove enhanced focus, engagement, and delivery across divisions.  

Venturing Into the Unknown  

Beyond impressive financial metrics, Jacqueline has pioneered game-changing research projects and partnerships that delivered impactful insights when uncertainty ran high. In Spring 2020, as COVID-19 rapidly emerged, a prime division of Jacqueline’s company requiring in-person engagements was instantly rendered obsolete. Meanwhile, LA officials urgently needed data to guide critical policy decisions and make projections to manage the virus.   

Jacqueline engineered a first-of-its-kind collaboration between LA County, USC and her firm to run a drive-thru COVID testing site that also surveyed and tracked behavioral changes of participants. With astounding speed, she developed platforms for scheduling, testing, data integration and result notifications to launch the program. Cited nationally in briefings and scientific publications, the agile efforts provided crucial statistics during initial critical months.   

Capitalizing on Growing Markets  

Additionally, Jacqueline has continually recognized and moved quickly to capture prospects in fledgling categories. As cannabis legalization grew in the mid-2010s, she identified brands struggling to engage emerging consumers. Rapidly building specialty research panels and surveys, her work informed product decisions during the regulatory “Wild West.” She became a noted expert in the space, frequently published in industry trades.  

In 2020, Jacqueline had already cultivated personal knowledge of cryptocurrency and decentralized network technology applications. She guided anxious Fortune 500 companies on inaugural research efforts to shape future business models and branding. She further established herself as a research leader in cutting-edge categories such as Web3 and the Metaverse.
