Kinga Vajda: Charting a Path from Cultural Roots to Entrepreneurial Leadership

Growing up as the daughter of Hungarian immigrants in the liberal state of Vermont, Kinga Vajda always felt a bit different. Surrounded by a mostly homogenous white population, her cultural upbringing and family background made her stand out. But this experience shaped her worldview and planted the seeds for what would become her life's passion—helping others find connection, inclusion and purpose.

After excelling in math and science, Kinga studied Industrial Engineering at Georgia Tech with the encouragement of her father, an electrical engineer. However, she quickly realized this path was not fulfilling her deeper desire to connect with people. She made a pivot into software development, where she found a new calling in bringing order and harmony to dysfunctional teams through her natural talents for empathy, logic and organization.

This began Kinga's journey into project and program management, where she helped leadership and technology teams align around shared business goals. She finally found a way to leverage her analytical abilities while satisfying her hunger for human connection.

Embracing Authenticity and Resilience

Kinga recalls her early corporate career being full of difficulties and resistance, especially as a woman in the male-dominated tech field. Her direct communication style, influenced by her Hungarian upbringing, was sometimes off-putting to others even though her intentions were good. She pushed forward, driven by her passion, but the rejection hurt deeply.

Over time, Kinga realized she couldn't stop being her authentic self just to fit in. She had to honor her uniqueness despite adversity. Her immigrant parents had overcome their hardships, instilling resilience and giving her the courage to stay true to her beliefs.

As Kinga became more senior, she longed to have a bigger impact beyond just the teams she was coaching. She dreamed of running her own consulting business. After years in corporate America, Kinga felt called to something more entrepreneurial where she could make a more significant impact. Kinga embarked on a journey of exploration, following her curiosity to see where it led.

She discovered new passions around inclusion, empathy and helping people gain clarity in their lives. These became the seeds for her company. She launched her business, Execute Your Intentions, LLC, focused on assisting others to gain clarity and take action on their goals through group coaching programs.

Women's Road to Entrepreneurial Success

For women looking to embrace their entrepreneurial spirit, Kinga stresses the importance of self-care and building a support system. Having the courage to ask for help when you need it is critical. She also advises developing a few essential skills—breaking large goals down into smaller steps, staying adaptable to change, and moving forward relentlessly in the face of challenges.

Kinga encourages women to honor their uniqueness and not be afraid to disrupt the status quo. "Demand more for yourself but in a healthy, positive way that builds relationships and fosters empowerment," she urges. Although rejection stings, remember that it's not personal. Focus instead on self-worth and having cheerleaders to remind you of your value.

Kinga's story shows that a non-traditional path often leads to the most fulfilling destinations. With resilience, self-belief and a passion for helping others, she transformed her purpose into a thriving business. Kinga specializes in bringing clarity and intention to coaching programs so participants can execute meaningful goals. By sharing her experiences authentically, she empowers more women to take the leap into entrepreneurship and leadership. In Kinga's words, "Everybody deserves a better future than where we're at right now."

As Kinga Vajda continues to evolve her business, her focus remains on creating systemic change through empowerment and inclusive growth. Her dream is to see a world where each individual feels supported and motivated to bring their unique strengths to the table, fostering a culture of collective success and fulfillment.
