In an era of cut-throat competition, it has become imperative to be skillful to deliver on the ever-demanding business objectives. All leaders face challenges and roadblocks and require tools to make key transitions to improve their performance. This is where executive coaching comes in handy, bringing in an evidence-based psychological approach to help leaders and executives succeed and thrive in a highly complex, fast-paced, and seemingly chaotic world. Krystal Champlin , Certified Executive Coach, and Emotional Intelligence Practitioner has created a niche for herself in the executive coaching sphere by empowering professionals with skills and tools to develop and grow in their respective fields.
From Legal to Coaching
Krystal started her journey with financial services and then moved on to the legal industry. She is a law veteran, boasting of close to 15 years of experience in law firm management and operations consulting. Starting her legal career with RJH Consulting , she later took over the firm from owners Bob and Jan Henderson in 2016. The company has over sixty years of experience in law firm consulting, where they have been implementing and crafting solutions for law firms to build and grow profitable and smooth-running, successful practices. Besides being a Certified Executive Coach, Krystal holds additional certifications in DiSC training, Six Sigma Lean White Belt, and Genos International- Emotional Intelligence Practitioner.
During her stint with RJH, Krystal learned that since all organizations have the same structure, including leadership, hiring, planning, and profit, they all face the same issues as well. Hence, aligning law firms with each other would help them grow. Krystal decided to apply the same methodology and implement it in other professional industries. Thus, Maverick Coaching Solutions was born in February 2021 to reach out to growth-minded individuals who are devoted to executive leadership training. She believes that when it comes to Corporate America, the traditional workplaces have to transform into a more innovative and progressive workplaces, and leadership is required to understand the needs of their employees and fulfill them without interrupting the growth of the firm.

Maverick Coaching Solutions works with small businesses by providing executive coaching to like-minded professionals who are committed to growing their leadership skills and their organizations through identifying obstacles, creating accountability, and moving forward in their personal and professional growth. The Road Ahead
While Maverick Coaching Solutions continues to grow from strength to strength, Krystal is also working on a book and wants to create mastermind groups where professionals will get mentorship from her and her team and from the members of their own community as well. The mastermind group would remain virtual in the beginning, but she soon plans to make it in-person.
As a word of advice to women entrepreneurs, Krystal says that they should stick to their goals. “Although it is going to be hard, and you may think that you are sometimes failing, keep picking yourself up. Find a friend, a mentor, or just someone who can give you some encouragement. Celebrate even the smallest of successes,” Krystal said while speaking with WomLEAD Magazine.
