Drawing upon her extensive background in consulting, acquired during her tenure at W.W. Grainger, Inc., a renowned industrial distribution company, Wanda possessed the expertise needed to build a successful enterprise. Over the course of 20 years at Grainger, she had worked her way up from a sales leader to a consulting division, where she led a team of consultants across the nation. Through this experience, she honed her skills in understanding and streamlining business processes, working closely with CEOs, CFOs, and vice presidents of operations.  

Wanda's background as a consultant became an invaluable asset as she ventured into the realm of nonprofit work. Armed with the knowledge that a nonprofit organization is essentially a business with a different tax status, she set out to establish Next Step Development Corporation (NSDC) with meticulous planning and attention to detail.
